In cases where young people do not get along with their families, and the family members, as well as social environments find it difficult to cope with these
situations, the result can be a subjective misfortune of the termination of the young people’s current residential accommodation. In such cases, teachers and educators are called upon to guide
these teenagers back on the "right track“. After separation with their families, how can a suitable environment that is characterised by safety, love, and recognition be created for these young
people with a high potential for aggression and deep rooted pain? How are young people able to build up their self-worth and dignity to develop their potential in such a way that their goals,
wishes, and dreams seem attainable? Is it possible for residential communities to make these young people feel at home and to begin a self-determined and fulfilled life?
